EBAC® SP1806 by Westlake is a soft, flexible, impact modified, plasticizer free ethylene butyl acrylate (EBA) copolymer grade with 17.5% butyl acrylate (BA). Provides good toughness, good corrosion resistance, good heat & radio frequency (RF) sealing, good adhesion, excellent environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR), high coefficient of friction and high solids fillability. Offers excellent thermal stability, excellent drawdown, low neck-in, broad chemical resistance and processing range. EBAC® SP1806 is compatible with various polymers including paper, polyolefins, oriented polyolefins, polyesters, ionomers, PVC, unplasticized PVC and other polar polymers. Is suitable for processing by extrusion coating, laminating and compounding. Recommended for fexible packaging and high filler loadings applications. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1340 regulation.
