INTENE® 30 AF by Versalis (Eni Group) is a solution polymerized low cis (38% wt) polybutadiene produced using an alkyl lithium catalyst. A TNPP-free, food contact-approved, non-staining antioxidant is added during the production process. Its unique molecular structure gives fast-dissolving time and fine dispersion of the rubber in the plastic matrix. Impact improver of ABS and polystyrene giving a gloss surface. It can also be used in conjunction with certain block copolymers to give a high gloss. Due to its high capacity of loading carbon black and good extrudability, it is suitable for abrasion strips construction in tire building. INTENE® 30 AF has a shelf life of 12 months.
