EUROPRENE LATICE® 5570 by Versalis (Eni Group) is an aqueous anionic dispersion of styrene-butadiene copolymer with high solid content obtained by emulsion polymerization using fatty acid soap as an emulsifier. It does not contain any antioxidants. It shows good mechanical properties as good tensile strength and elongation at break after vulcanization. It can be blended and vulcanized in a similar manner to natural rubber latex. It exhibits a very soft indentation hardness and very high resilience. EUROPRENE LATICE® 5570 is used for soft foam applications (pillows, mattresses, topper, insoles) related to Dunlop, Talalay, gel and no gel processes. It can be used for carpet foams and bitumen modification. Shelf-life: 6 months.
