EVATHENE® UE659 by USI is a water insoluble ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer with 25% VA content. Exhibits excellent low temperature impact strength, environmental stress crack resistance, flexibility, elasticity, transparency and easy processability. EVATHENE® UE659 is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion while incorporated with additives. Recommended for developing new applications and substituting for flexible PVC, rubbers and other elastomers. Applications include incorporation of blowing agent and crosslinking agent for injection or compression molding of foamed shoe sole. It can be mixed with tackifier and PE wax to make hot melt adhesive.
