Lumicene® M1820 EP

Supplied byTotalEnergies- Last Updated on Feb 26, 2022

Lumicene® M1820 EP is a water insoluble, metallocene based linear low density polyethylene (PE) grade by Total Refining & Chemicals. It contains hexene as a comonomer. It has a low gel level and offers excellent sealing behavior at low temperature. It can be processed at high output rates with low extrusion pressure, excellent bubble stability and gauge control in comparison with conventional LLDPE and first generation metallocene based polyethylene. It is especially dedicated to film applications where outstanding mechanical and optical properties are required. Suitable for lamination film, blown stretch film, deep-freeze packaging and FFS bags. Applications for Lumicene® M1820 EP include blown (non-, consumer-, secondary- and industrial) packaging and non-, primary-, secondary-, food- and industrial packaging films. It fulfills harmonized requirements on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food as described in the Regulation (EU) 10/2011 amended up to the Regulation (EU) 2015/ 174.
