HDPE 8183 is a specialty high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade with medium molecular weight. Offers narrow molecular weight distribution, shows high gloss surface and excellent mold release. Is suitable for processing by injection blow molding. Applications include cosmetic bottles, pharmaceutical bottles, industrial product containers, chemical- and food packaging. Is an ASTM D1248 Type III, Class A, Category 4, Drug master file, USP Class VI and FDA 21 CFR § 177.1520 compliant grade.
