SKYPRENE® 590 by Tosoh is a chloroprene rubber (CR) containing rosin salt as an emulsifier. Exhibits high gel content, very high molecular weight, excellent bonding strength caused by gel-free components at high temperature and fast crystallization rate. Provides good mechanical-, storage- and electrolytic stability (under low pH). SKYPRENE® 590 is used in wet to dry contact adhesive applications.
