TOPAS® 9903D-10 by Topas Advanced Polymers (Polyplastics) is a Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC). This clear, amorphous extrusion food grade resin has a very low Tg for thermoforming, shrink film and seal layer formulations. It enables the development of higher value films on standard PE film lines. Films containing 9903D-10 generally can be reclaimed and recycled with PE. It is suitable for a broad processing window suitable from cast film to blown film extrusion and can be coextruded with PE without tie layers. TOPAS® 9903D-10 by Topas Advanced Polymers (Polyplastics) complies with FDA directive 21 CFR 177.1520 for direct food contact and is available worldwide.
