TOPAS® 8007X10 by TOPAS Advanced Polymers is a cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) engineered for healthcare and diagnostic applications requiring UV transparency. It is a glass-clear, high purity medical grade plastic with the highest UV transmission of any known polymer. TOPAS® 8007X10 possesses high moisture barrier, excellent biocompatibility and high dimensional stability. It also exhibits excellent alcohol, acid and alkali resistance and is suitable for processing by injection molding. TOPAS® 8007X10 is recommended for healthcare and diagnostic applications, including diagnostic disposables, microplates, and microfluidic items. TOPAS® 8007X10 complies with ISO 10993, US Pharmacopoeia XXIII-Class VI and UL 94 HB flame rating and is also EtO and gamma sterilizable and available worldwide.
