Sarlink® TPV 3470N by Teknor Apex is an opaque, general purpose thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) grade with high heat resistance and medium hardness. Exhibits excellent fatigue resistance, resistance to high temperatures up to 135°C, outstanding electrical properties, abrasion resistance and excellent resistance to chemicals & weathering. Has high impact strength, low specific gravity, low tension & compression set and good colorability. It reduces production costs due to its shorter cycle times, reduces energy needs and has very high material efficiency as a result of its recyclability. Sarlink® TPV 3470N by Teknor Apex can be reprocessed through several heat cycles without loss of physical properties. Is suitable for processing by blow molding, extrusion, pipe extrusion, profiles and injection molding. Desired for applications like piping, fitting and portable water. Potential applications include building, automotive (under hood applications, sealing systems) grommets and profiles, film, household appliances, hoses, gaskets/seals, power tools, sports and leisure articles, personal care products, tubing, wire & cable jacketing. Complies with NSF 61.
