AVIMID® RB by Syensqo is a high temperature thermoset polyimide resin. It is a non-MDA, PMR-15 alternative with no carcinogenic components. Available in a range of fibers and forms including tape, fabric, chopped fiber or neat resin. Possesses good toughness & good wet and dry service capability. Offers outstanding thermal oxidative stability & excellent resistance to micro-crack and aircraft fluids. Suitable for prepreg autoclave vacuum bag processing and compression molding. Recommended for jet engine applications. AVIMID® RB has a shelf life of 12 months at -18°C and 14 days at 21°C.
