Varcum® 29318 by Sumitomo Bakelite is an unmodified, two-step phenolic resin. Exhibits high degree of bond toughness, excellent wheel strength and higher grinder efficiency. Soluble in alcohols, ketones & esters and insoluble in aromatic hydrocarbons. Reduces wheel cracking and improves wear performance at elevated temperatures. Designed for high density snagging and cutoff grinding wheels. The recommended baking cycle for Varcum® 29318 is 4-8 hours at 350°F.
