Varcum® 29101 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a one-step lump phenolic resin. Shows excellent compatibility with modifying agents. Permits the use of relatively high percentages of phenolic in phenolic-epoxy formulations. It is soluble in ketones, esters, butanol and higher alcohols. It has limited solubility in ethyl & isopropyl alcohol and aromatic hydrocarbons. Varcum® 29101 formulations provide improved chemical and heat resistance.
