OREVAC® 18603 by SK Functional Polymer is a maleic anhydride modified ethylene methyl-acrylate (EMA) copolymer resin. It offers outstanding thermal stability and adhesion. It can be easily recycled. It is suitable for polyester-based flexible and rigid multilayer packaging. It is designed for co-extrusion applications with polyethylene, ethylene copolymers, polyamides, EVOH, PET and PS. It can be used as a coupling agent for HFFR compounds as well as impact modifiers for polyamides and as compatibilizer in PE/PET blend in mechanical recycling process. It is suitable for developing shrinkable film and produce lidding film exhibiting drum effect (film with low shrink ratio). OREVAC® 18603 is also used to manufacture polyester shrinkable film on triple or double bubble blown to pack a chunk of meat or cheese. It complies with FDA and EU food regulations.
