LOTADER® AX8900 by SK Functional Polymer is random terpolymer of ethylene, acrylic ester and glycidyl methacrylate. It can be polymerized by high-pressure autoclave process. It offers softness and polarity, while keeping high thermal stability during processing. The high content of acrylic ester leads to high flexibility (low crystallinity) and high impact absorption behavior. It provides good reactivity with OH, COOH and NH2 groups that leads to optimal dispersion during melt mixing with engineering thermoplastics. It can be processed by extrusion. It is compatible with LDPE in all proportions, and with almost all other ethylene co-polymers. It exhibits good adhesion on PET, PBT, PPS, metal, paper, and glass. The shelf life of LOTADER® AX8900 is 2 years.
