ProTherm® 4529 by Shriram Axiall is a chlorinated polyvinylchloride (CPVC/PVCC). Offers high temperature resistance, excellent processability, including thermal stability, flow and surface appearance. Exhibits ductility, malleability, fire resistance, high mechanical strength and withstand corrosive water at high temperatures (40°C to 50°C). It is suitable for injection molding. ProTherm® 4529 is recommended for manufacturing of large fittings. Typical applications are in potable water and chemical transfer systems. Is listed under NSF Standard 14 and Standard 61, meeting ASTM D- 1784 cell class 23447-B requirements. Complies with ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 9001:2008.
