MicroFLON® S-205 by Shamrock Technologies is a micronized virgin polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) grade. Exhibits high thermal stability and improves stick-slip response. It is a finest in process-controlled grade suitable for use as a processing aid. It reduces friction and noise. Offers good lubrication, easy dispersion and good wear resistance. It is ideal for polyphenylene sulfide, polyimide and polyether ether ketone. Designed for high temperature applications. Compatible with polyesters, polyamides, polyacetals and polycarbonate. Recommended dosage level of MicroFLON® S-205 ranges from 10-30% of total formula weight.
