ULTEM™ Resin UC1200 by SABIC is amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) blend reinforced with 12% carbon fiber. It offers excellent dimensional stability and easy processability with low toxicity and smoke evolution. It provides long-term heat resistance and stability of physical and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures with high stiffness and excellent strength up to 200 °C. It retains strength and resists stress cracking when exposed to automotive, aircraft and hydrolytic fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and weak aqueous solutions. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. ULTEM™ Resin UC1200 by SABIC is recommended for thin wall applications. It is UL rated, 94V-0. Complies with ECO regulations.
