ULTEM™ Resin MD141 by SABIC is an amorphous and transparent polyetherimide (PEI) grade. Offers medium flow with low toxicity and smoke evolution. Provides long-term heat resistance and stability of physical and mechanical properties at elevated temperatures with high stiffness and excellent strength up to 200 °C. Exhibits exceptionally high-tolerance dimensional capabilities, broad chemical resistance and easy processability. Retains strength and resists stress cracking when exposed to automotive, aircraft and hydrolytic fluids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and weak aqueous solutions. ULTEM™ Resin MD141 can be processed by injection molding. Is ECO conforming and complies with US FDA and EU Food Contact regulations.
