Supplied byRogers Corporation- Last Updated on Feb 9, 2026
BISCO® A2 Sound Transmission Loss by Rogers Corporation is a solid, silicone rubber. It uses innovative filler technology to create superior flame resistance. This primary sound insulation material grade demonstrates high sound transmission loss through a wide range of frequencies. It meets demanding flammability, smoke density and toxicity (FST) requirements. It possesses low to high areal densities and material flexibility which allows OEMs to meet all needs in the aircraft. It is used in aircraft acoustic insulation, noise reduction liner for interior panels, aircraft flooring noise barrier and rail interior noise blocker applications. BISCO® A2 Sound Transmission Loss meets new radiant panel flammability test FAR25.856(a).
