BISCO® A2 Sound Barrier
Supplied byRogers Corporation- Last Updated on Aug 28, 2020
BISCO® A2 Sound Barrier by Rogers Corporation is a solid, silicone rubber. It is engineered to meet demanding requirements for flammability, smoke density and toxicity. This grade is used to block the transmission of sound and demonstrates excellent performance in low frequency noise reduction. Innovative filler technology is used to create superior flame resistance meeting the radiant panel flammability test FAR25.856(a). It passes flammability, flame propagation resistance, flame penetration resistance in bonded condition, smoke gas components and smoke density tests. BISCO® A2 Sound Barrier is suitable for aircraft acoustic insulation, noise reduction liner for interior panels, aircraft flooring noise barrier and rail interior noise blocker applications. The temperature stability for this grade is -50°C to +180°C.
