BISCO® A2 R Fiberglass Reinforced Sound Barrier Areal Density 3.0 by Rogers Corporation is a silicone rubber. It provides sound absorption and flame resistance with the addition of increased tensile and tear strength obtained from the embedded fiberglass. The temperature stability for this grade is -50°C to 180°C. This grade passes flammability, flame propagation resistance, smoke gas components and smoke density tests. BISCO® A2 R Fiberglass Reinforced Sound Barrier Areal Density 3.0 by Rogers Corporation is used for aircraft acoustic insulation, noise reduction liner for interior panels, aircraft flooring noise barrier and rail interior noise blocker applications.
