BISCO® A2 R Fiberglass Reinforced Sound Barrier Areal Density 1.5 by Rogers Corporation is a silicone rubber. It provides sound absorption and flame resistance with the addition of increased tensile and tear strength obtained from the embedded fiberglass. BISCO® A2 R Fiberglass Reinforced Sound Barrier Areal Density 1.5 by Rogers Corporation passes flammability, flame propagation resistance, smoke gas components and smoke density tests. The temperature stability for this grade is -50°C to 180°C. Recommended for aircraft acoustic insulation, noise reduction liner for interior panels, aircraft flooring noise barrier and rail interior noise blocker applications.
