BISCO® A2 R Fiberglass Reinforced Sound Barrier Areal Density 1.0 by Rogers Corporation is a silicone rubber. It provides sound absorption and flame resistance with the addition of increased tensile and tear strength obtained from the embedded fiberglass. It passes flammability, flame propagation resistance, smoke gas components and smoke density tests. The temperature stability for BISCO® A2 R Fiberglass Reinforced Sound Barrier Areal Density 1.0 by Rogers Corporation is -50°C to 180°C. Recommended for aircraft acoustic insulation, noise reduction liner for interior panels, aircraft flooring noise barrier and rail interior noise blocker applications.
