ACRYLITE® Hi-Gloss FT8 Polymer by Roehm is an amorphous thermoplastic molding and extrusion compound based on polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). It exhibits excellent weather resistance, high mechanical strength, high surface hardness and mar resistance. It possesses good melt flow rate and versatile colorability due to crystal clarity. It shows high heat resistance and high melt strength. It is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. ACRYLITE® Hi-Gloss FT8 Polymer is used in automotive surface parts (e.g. exterior pillars, mirror housings and exterior covers).
