OPaLene R5401 by ONGC Petro additions is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Is a very hard grade, exhibiting abrasion resistance, excellent processability and tenacity. Provides higher temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction and superior water vapor barrier properties. Possesses low degree of branching, hence stronger intermolecular forces. Designed for monofilament extrusion method by gas phase process. OPaLene R5401 is recommended for nets, twines and ropes.
