OPaLene M5218 by ONGC Petro additions is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Is a very hard grade, exhibiting abrasion resistance, high flow and warpage resistance. Provides higher temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction and superior water vapor barrier properties. Possesses low degree of branching, hence stronger intermolecular forces. Designed for injection molding method by gas phase process. OPaLene M5218 is recommended for housewares, thin walled food containers and base resin for filler master batch.
