OPaLene B5604 by ONGC Petro additions is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade. Is a very hard grade, exhibiting abrasion resistance, excellent rigidity and good environmental stress-cracking resistance (ESCR). Provides higher temperature resistance, low coefficient of friction and superior water vapor barrier properties. Possesses low degree of branching, hence stronger intermolecular forces. OPaLene B5604 is designed for general purpose blow molding and extrusion applications using slurry process.
