SURPASS® HPs267-AB by NOVA Chemicals is an ultimate moisture-barrier, high-density polyethylene grade. It exhibits stiffness and heat resistance sufficient for packaging processes to enable replacement of PET. Provides high flex crack resistance, improved processability and a transparent barrier option for window packaging. It enables greater freedom in structure design and possesses an ultra-low water vapor transmission rate. It offers longer shelf life by protecting moisture-sensitive layers. It is suitable for extrusion blown film applications. It is ideal for food packaging applications including meat, cheese, cereals, crackers, baking staples, high-fat content foods, SUP, pillow pouches, flow wrap, dry goods, high-fat content food, sachets, dried fruits, pasta, confectionery, liquid, and pet food. It enables recyclable packaging and energy savings by avoiding triplex laminates with metallization or coating. It gives the opportunity to make tougher and downgauged film structures.
