AkuPure™ 2795

AkuPure™ 2795 by Nouryon is carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC). It shows ultra-high purity (>99.5) with best-in-class low levels of trace metals. It provides excellent adhesion, typically in combination with styrene butadiene rubber (SBR), high coating quality and low levels of insolubles. It can prevent filter clogging for an efficient production process and ensures a defect-free coating for optimal performance of electrodes. It is easily dispersible free-flowing powder to facilitate easy slurry manufacturing. It exhibits super slurry stability and dispersion of graphite. It offers excellent battery properties such as high temperature storage stability and capacity retention. AkuPure™ 2795 is free-flowing powder & dissolve easily. It is suitable for aqueous binder systems in lithium ion battery anodes.
