Silopren™ LSR 4640

Silopren™ LSR 4640 by Momentive Performance Materials is a two-component liquid silicone rubber, sterilizable with ethylene oxide, steam and gamma radiation. Offers low viscosity, fast cure, excellent biocompatibility, high temperature stability and excellent recovery after puncture. Shows high tear strength, neutral odor and taste. Exhibits excellent rubber like properties, long service life at dynamic stress, high stability to ozone and UV light. Designed for processing by injection molding. Silopren™ LSR 4640 is used in healthcare devices like sealing elements, O-rings, diaphragms, ear plugs, bellows, baby teats, respiratory devices, air vent flaps, tube connectors, catheters and mats. Complies with USP Class VI, ISO 10993, BfR recommendation XV "Silicones", FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 and Eur. Pharmacopia VI 3.1.9 regulations.
