TAFMER™ DF840 by Mitsui Chemicals is a specialty, ethylene-based alpha-olefin elastomer (TPO) grade. It is insoluble in water and possesses low melting point, softness, elasticity and transparency.
- Exhibits surface gloss, low specific gravity and good impact resistance at low temperatures.
- Provides good filler containability, foamability, paintability and crosslinkability.
- Shows PE miscibility and PP compatibility.
- TAFMER™ DF840 is suitable for processing by injection molding.
- Used in automotive bumpers and instrumental panels.
- Meets FDA title 21, parts 170 to 189, FCN (food contact notification) and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
