TAFMER™ A-20085S

Supplied byMitsui Chemicals- Last Updated on Jul 7, 2025

TAFMER™ A-20085S by Mitsui Chemicals is a specialty, ethylene based a-olefin elastomer (TPO) grade by Mitsui Chemicals. Exhibits improved heat seal initiation temperature, low melting point, low young's modulus, softness and flexibility. Provides transparency, low temperature impact resistance, low specific gravity and elasticity. Shows insolubility in water, good filler containability, foamability and crosslinkability. Is miscible with polyethylene (PE) and compatible with polypropylene (PP) for adhesion strength control. TAFMER™ A-20085S is suitable for processing by extrusion coating. Used in pakaging. Meets FCN (food contact notification) and EU Directive 2002/72/EC.
