Tefabloc™ TE 817 by Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers (MCPP) is a flame retardant, non-toxic thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) grade. It is a food contact acceptable grade. Exhibits very high flow and thermal stability at high temperature. Offers good resistance to UV, scratch and abrasion, aging and flexibility at low temperature. Possesses chemical inertia, easy coloring, wide processing window and compression set at 70°C. Shows chemical compatibility with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA), styrene acrylonitrile (SAN), polycarbonate (PC), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), PTA and CHDM copolyester (PCTA), glycol-modified PCT copolymer (PCTG), polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA), styrene methylmethacrylate (SMMA) and DURABIO™ grades. Tefabloc™ TE 817 is designed for injection molding method.
