ALKOX® L-6

ALKOX® L-6 by Meisei Chemical Works is a special, low molecular weight and water soluble ethylene oxide homopolymer grade. Exhibits narrow molecular weight distribution, low viscosity, low moisture absorbency and low melt viscosity. Shows thermoplasticity, good fluidity at room temperature, low stringiness and bleed out resistance. As resin additive use, it shows less deterioration against shearing when mixed and less bleeding from the resins. Shows reduced flow resistance, tackiness when wet and easy release when dried. It maintains water solubility even if combined with other chemicals. Moreover, it has a function of coagulating sedimentation for suspension of clay, silica and others. ALKOX® L-6 is suitable for processing by heat rolling, extrusion and casting. Used as thickener of inks for inkjet printing.
