Adflex Z101H by LyondellBasell is a water-insoluble, soft thermoplastic olefin elastomer. It is manufactured using the company’s proprietary Catalloy process technology. It possesses good flexibility, low modulus with relatively high melt flow index. It exhibits high environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR), good chemical and low temperature impact resistance. It is tailored to replace atactic polypropylene copolymers (APP) and to obtain easy dispersion and phase inversion in the bitumen blend. Adflex Z101H is suitable for processing by compounding, extrusion coatings, flat-die & fibers and injection molding. It is used in the modification of bitumen in roofing membranes and textile market. Adflex Z101H by LyondellBasell complies with EU 1935/2004/EC (framework regulation), EU 2023/2006/EC (GMP), EU 10/2011/EC (PIM), US CONEG Model Legislation for heavy metals, EU Packaging and Packaging Waste 94/62/EC, RoHS directive 2002/95/EC & 2011/65/EU, US CONEG, End of Life Vehicle directive 2000/53/EC and meets the FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.1520(a)(3)(iii) and 21 CFR 177.1520(c)(3.4).
