KUREHA KF Polymer 1550 by Kureha is a high melt viscosity, flame retarded and self-extinguishing PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) homopolymer grade. It exhibits high molecular weight, excellent weldability, excellent mechanical properties, excellent processability & chemical resistance, good heat & weather resistance and good stability to UV & radioactive rays. It also exhibits good abrasion resistance, good impact resistance, high crystallinity, high melting point, good dielectric constant and low fluidity. It possesses good corrosion resistance, good ozone resistance, good gas barrier properties (oxygen, carbon dioxide) and low water vapor transmission rate. KUREHA KF Polymer 1550 is designed for processing by extrusion. It is suitable for membrane applications. It complies with U.S. 21 CFR section 177.2510 FDA approved.
