Eltex® A 4040 by Ineos is a non-pigmented, medium density polyethylene (MDPE) grade. Designed for the production of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xb) compounds using two-step process or for the manufacture of PEX pipes using a simple-step process. Eltex® A 4040 is recommended for hot & cold water pipe applications. It complies with the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, & Commission Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006. Meets the relevant requirements of regulations including EN ISO 15875, ISO 10508, RoHS-2011/65/EU, WEEE-2002/96/EC, EoL-2000/53/EC, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, and REACH-Regulation No. 1907/2006.
