Supplied byFutamura- Last Updated on May 28, 2025

Cellophane™ 440XS by Futamura is regenerated cellulose film (RCF), based on renewable wood pulp, coated on both sides with polyvinylidene chloride (PVdC) copolymer. It is heat-sealable on both sides, excellent barrier to water vapor, gases, and aromas. It is resistant to oils, greases and has excellent gloss as well as dead-fold characteristics. Both sides of the film are equally receptive to inks, adhesives and tear-tapes. Possesses inherent anti-static properties and excellent transparency. Used as a single film for medium to large packs on vertical or horizontal form-fill-seal machines. Particularly suitable for the packaging of snack foods, cereals, confectionery and other hygroscopic products.
