Cellophane™ 340 Rayo-M by Futamura is a regenerated cellulose film (RCF), based on renewable wood pulp. It is coated on both sides with a polyvinylidene chloride (PVdC) copolymer by a solvent process and metallised on one side. Its non metallized face is heat sealable and it is cold-seal compatible. Offers excellent barrier to water vapor, gases and aromas, enhanced barrier to UV/visible light transmission, resistant to oils as well as greases. Possesses utra high lustre, sparkle and xcellent dead-fold characterisitics. Used in the confectionery industry for twist and bunch wrapping on high-speed machinery. Suitable for use in laminate structures for the packaging of snacks, biscuits and confectionery. Cellophane™ 340 Rayo-M is ideally suited to decorative embossing and security packaging.
