Cellophane™ 330XSCd by Futamura is colored regenerated cellulose film (RCF), based on renewable wood pulp, coated on both sides with polyvinylidene chloride (PVdC) copolymer by a solvent process. It is heat-sealable on both sides, excellent barrier to water vapor, gases, and aromas. It is resistant to oils, greases and has excellent gloss as well as dead-fold characteristics. Both sides of the film are equally receptive to inks, adhesives and tear-tapes. Possesses inherent anti-static properties. It is a dyed colored film suitable for horizontal, vertical form-fill-seal, overwrap and twistwrap. The high gloss and sparkle characteristics of 330XSCd film also makes it suitable for applications where visual appeal is important, such as gift wrap.
