Cellophane™ 280XS by Futamura is a regenerated cellulose film (RCF) made from renewable wood pulp and coated on both sides with a polyvinylidene chloride (PVdC) copolymer. It's heat-sealable on both sides and acts as a good barrier against water vapor, gases, and odors. It has great gloss and dead-fold properties and is resistant to oils and greases. Inks, adhesives, and tear-tapes adhere to both sides of the film equally well. Anti-static properties and great transparency are built-in. Cellophane™ 280XS is appropriate for overwrapping and form-fill-seal packaging as a single film or in laminate structures.
