Supplied byFormosa Plastics- Last Updated on Nov 30, 2018

Formolene® 5143C is a Polypropylene (PP) homopolymer grade containing a unique combination of stabilizers, nucleators and anti-stats. Offers exceptional clarity, lower haze and an excellent balance of stiffness and impact strength. Exhibits advantages in processing over traditional PP grades used for thermoforming, including a broad forming window and fast setup time. Designed for sheet and thermoforming applications. Formolene® 5143C meets the requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles and components of articles intended for direct food contact. Also meets the requirements for materials & articles intended to come into contact with food as specified by Directives EC/2023/2006, EC/1935/2004, EU/10/2011 and EU/1183/2012.
