Tough 1000 Resin by Formlabs is a ductile, impact-resistant material with toughness that rivals high density polyethylene (HDPE). It is suitable for parts requiring the strength and stiffness.
  • It is used for components that must bend, flex, or compress without cracking.
  • It is suitable for living hinges, snap-fits and functional parts under repeated stress.
  • Tough 1000 Resin offers 180% elongation at break and high gardner impact strength for extreme toughness.
  • It provides high wear resistance, fatigue durability (>100,000 cycles), and low-friction matte surfaces.
  • It helps with long-term performance where aging, creep and fracture toughness are critical.
