Vistamaxx™ Performance Polymer 6202 by ExxonMobil Chemical is an easy to process propylene elastomer with random ethylene distribution. It is composed of isotactic propylene repeat units and is produced using proprietary metallocene catalyst technology. It provides good flexibility, transparency, impact performance, very good elasticity and toughness.
- It exhibits excellent elastomeric properties, very good chemical and long-term aging resistance.
- It shows excellent adhesion to conventional or metallocene PP & PE and compatibility with a wide variety of materials.
- It offers very low seal initiation temperature combined with high seal strength when used as sealing layer of co-extruded structures.
- It is designed for thermoplastic compounding which requires excellent filler dispersion and acceptance such as sound deadening sheets and masterbatches.
- It is also used in packaging, cast film, PP/TPE modification, calendared or extruded sheeting/profiles and injection molded goods.
- Vistamaxx™ Performance Polymer 6202 complies with RoHS.
