Exxtra™ Seal POP 2008.RK by ExxonMobil Chemical is an ethylene–1-hexene plastomer for both monolayer and multilayer film applications. The films produced with this grade feature a low seal initiation temperature relative to density, combined with high toughness, stiffness, and low coefficient of friction (COF) on hot metal surfaces.
- It offers enhanced packaging line speeds and contains an optimized additive package with antiblock (5000 ppm), slip (1000 ppm), thermal stabilizer, and an alternative processing aid.
- Importantly, fluoropolymers, fluorine-containing compounds, and TNPP are not intentionally added.
- It is suitable for blown film extrusion.
- Exxtra™ Seal POP 2008.RK is recommended for barrier food packaging, freezer-, lamination- and multilayer packaging film.
