Tenite™ Butyrate 572E3720008, Clear, Trsp by Eastman is a cellulose acetate butyrate grade with a plasticizer level of 8% and contains an odor mask. Has excellent balance of properties including toughness, hardness, strength, surface gloss, clarity, and a warm feel. The mechanical properties of Tenite™ cellulosic plastics differ with plasticizer levels. Lower plasticizer content yields a harder surface, higher heat resistance, greater rigidity, higher tensile strength, and better dimensional stability. Higher plasticizer content increases impact strength. Possesses >90% of bio-based content and an ultra-violet inhibitor (UVI). Color concentrates are available in let-down ratios from 10:1 to 40:1. Used in profiles.
