SURLYN™ AS1-E Ionomer by Dow is a sodium ionomer of ethylene acid copolymer. It offers easy release and non-sticky performance. It is suitable for processing by conventional blown film, cast film, sheet extrusion and coextrusion. It is a packaging resin designed for use in non-fusion pallet hood applications. It contains additives which allows the opening of the hood prior to its use. SURLYN™ AS1-E Ionomer complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1330(a), TSCA, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU Directive 94/62/EC.
