SURLYN™ 8920 Ionomer by Dow is a sodium ionomer of ethylene acid copolymer. It offers toughness, thermoformability, high transparency, very high stiffness and chemical resistance. It acts as a nucleating agent for PET compounds. SURLYN™ 8920 Ionomer is suitable for processing by blow molding, injection molding and sheet extrusion. It is designed for golf balls and wood plastic composites. It complies with TSCA, EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE) & EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and conforms to CONEG & EU Directive 94/62/EC.
