NUCREL™ AN4228C Acid Copolymer by Dow is an acid modified ethylene acrylate resin. It contains temperature stable ester. It is designed to have adhesion to OPET, foil, EVOH and nylon without chemical primer. It is used as a tie layer for PET/LDPE or PET/foil, liquid carton, as a PET/paper board tie layer.
  • It is suitable for processing by extrusion, extrusion coating, lamination and high temperature coextrusion.
  • It is recommended for plastic compounding and packaging for medical & pharmaceuticals, sachets in both food and nonfood applications.
  • NUCREL™ AN4228C Acid Copolymer complies with TSCA, GB 4806.1-2016, EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), EU Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE), EU Directive 2023/1627, EN 71-3, FDA 21 CFR 177.1330(b) and conforms to CONEG, EU 94/62/EC.
